Adana is a city in the south of Turkey and a major agricultural, industrial and commercial center. It is the fifth city in Turkey in terms of population. 2. The Old Town and the Clock Tower
The Clock Tower is one of Adana's main landmarks. It was built by the local governor of Adana in 1882 and is 32 meters high and is considered the tallest clock tower in Turkey. Every hour the bell rings in the clock tower, and his voice is heard in all parts of the city.
3 - Central Park in "Adana"
Is a 33-hectare urban park on the banks of the Sehan River and just north of the Sabanji Mosque. It has interesting landscapes filled with a wide range of trees and plants, and also includes a range of cafes and clubs that hold many recreational activities.
4 - Sabanci Central Mosque
It is one of the largest mosques in Turkey, where it can accommodate about 20 thousand worshipers. It is located near the Sehan River inside the Central Park. The mosque has 6 minarets and 5 domes and a white color. There are eight columns carrying the main dome, which is 32 meters in diameter. The main dome is 54 meters high. The mosque has several facilities including four classrooms, rooms for Imam and Muezzin, and discussion rooms and a fountain. The mosque is decorated in the classic Ottoman style.
