MUD BATHS

Every year, mud baths in the Turkish state of Mogla attract thousands of people seeking beauty and restoring youth from all over the world.

Historical documents indicate that the thermal baths and springs of the nearby mineral "Saltanit" were used for recuperation 100 years ago.

Sultana is located in the Koggiz region of southern Mugla state, on the shores of Lake Koggiz, and is easily reachable by boat from nearby tourist areas such as Marmarramis, Fethiye, Bodrum and Antalya.

The clay baths receive about 150,000 visitors a year, and the number of visitors to the three thousand visitors to local and foreign daily during the summer.

Baths are believed to cure skin diseases and make the skin more fresh and beautiful, so they call it "beauty clay".

 The temperature of mud baths and mineral baths ranges from 39 to 40 degrees Celsius throughout the year.

 Visitors first go to the clay baths, then bathe to get rid of the mud, before entering the mineral baths and staying for recreation.

 Hot mineral water can be enjoyed in two open and closed bathrooms. The foundation also houses bungalows that can accommodate up to 100 people who wish to spend the night in Hammamet.

 Mineral water improves all types of rheumatism and gynecological diseases. Sultaniyah springs are among the most important in the world in terms of mineral density.

Water contains calcium chloride, calcium sulphate, calcium sulphide, bromide, radon, and radioactive materials.

 The Sultaniyah springs are among two of the world's most effective mineral springs because of their radioactive properties, and other active mineral springs are located in Indonesia.
